Get the right advice about reducing energy bills in your home
Two-thirds of Surrey’s residents are spending excessive amount of money to run their homes while energy companies make record profits (Surrey County Council). But when you know how to reduce your energy consumption, it is possible to take matters into your own hands and make real savings on your energy bills. Surrey residents are already coming together to take action and support their neighbours with the cost of living and reducing our energy bills.
Around 300,000 homes are overpaying on their energy bills, but through collaboration, we can support our fellow residents to upgrade their homes and reduce bills. One example is our ongoing ‘HEAT (Home Energy Advice Taskforce)’ service which has already helped over 600 households with in-person advice on how to take action since January 2024, with a 4.9 out of 5 stars satisfaction rating. With such support, residents are increasingly becoming more knowledgeable and mindful of their energy use at home, and effectively figuring out ways to improve energy efficiency in their homes.
